The Faculty employs over 100 teachers, most of those are D.Sc and Ph.D holders, speaking a number of foreign languages, experienced in international education. There are 10 Academic Chairs (departments) at the faculty:

- Political economy
- Regional economy and geography

- Economic-mathematical modeling
- Economics of an enterprise
- Foreign languages
The Faculty offers the following degree courses:
BACHELOR PROGRAM with duration of training - 4 years

The study process is conducted in the class-rooms equipped with modern teaching aids and techniques. The Faculty of Economics trains specialists of economics, managing and finance profiles. The graduates receive the State diploma (Bachelor, Master or a Specialist), those who passed the exam in a foreign language –receive the certificate of interpreter.
The Faculty has over 1350 students and trainees. They have a possibility to attend special short term courses in England, Spain, France, Germany, Cyprus and etc. The graduates of the Faculty can be found in more then 110 countries of the world. That fundamental education they received at the Faculty gives them opportunities to be employed in banks, finance and industrial firms, insurance and investment companies, different enterprises, international firms in Russia and abroad, foreign trade bodies, customs and state revenue authorities, to teach in russian and foreign universities.
