Faculty of Medicine

The Faculty keeps students from over 100 countries of the world and offers the following specialities (majors):
- General Medicine (MD program – 6 years)
- Pharmacy (M.Sc program – 5 years)
- Dentistry (M.Sc program – 5 years)
The Faculty has 44 Academic Chairs and 2 independent Departments. The academic staff consists of 114 D.Sc and 216 P.HD holders – 107 professors, 164 associate professors, 21 lecturers, and 93 assistant lecturers.
The Faculty trains around 2700 students bounded in different medical courses. The lectures are given by prominent medical scientists, members of Academies, who have contributed a lot into the medical science. Many laboratories well equipped with sophisticated diagnostic and research machines the students are engaged into the process of disclosing the secrets of a human being, diagnostics and treatment. The Faculty has a scientific students society where the students can associate themselves with the scientific research activity.
The Faculty maintains a wide after-classes activity of the students: musical and literature society, history society, students drama society.
