The Institute was set up in 1990 as a structure division of the University with rights of the faculty. Initialy it was called the International School of Business and it was one of the leaders in the field of business education in Russia.
The Institute is the member of the Russian Association of the Business Education and Association of development of management of the countries of Central and East Europe (CEEMAN), certified by Commercial and Industrial Chamber of Russian Federation.
The graduate of the Institute are awarded the State Diploma on higher education of the University, those who passed a state exam in a foreign language will receive a Diploma/Certificate of the interpreter.
All the teachers of the Institute speak foreign languages and many of them have experience in training and teaching abroad.
The Institute is outlined from the number of russian business-schools by a higher level of professional training and a fundamental studies of foreign languages. The students of the Institute have the opportunities to go abroad for short term language and professional courses in England, Spain, France, Germany and Cyprus.
At the present time the Institute trains 600 students.
The Institute has an advanced material and technical base, every lecture hall and a class-room have an access to internet, local computer network, modern equipment like sattelite TV and multi-media teaching means.
The institute offers Diploma courses (5 years) in the field of “World Economics” in the following majors:
- economics, management in a foreign economic activity
- international finance and credit relations
In the field of “Advertising”:
- advertising management
- advertising and public relations
Master courses (2 years) in the field of “Economics”:

management in the state budget

management in a corporative budget
MBA program (training of the managers of a highest qualification) is a special feature of the Institute. The graduates of this course receive Diploma of the University with a Master Degree in management and the State Diploma of an extra education with the Master Degree in business administration. The duration of the course is 2 years and a practical experience over 2 years is required.
The Institute runs some additional educational programs:
- training for international foreign language exams (TOEFL,GMAT, IELTS, BEC,CAE, FCE, etc.)
- short term courses of refresh and advanced training for the banks’ staffs and managers, and accountancy professional attestation courses.
